The Niitas are a humanoid species created by the goddess Tansa, primarily inhabiting the regions surrounding the Shallow Sea, with their capital city established in Limbia. Physically, they share a strong resemblance to the Sarins, though they are distinguished by significantly thicker hair and shorter ears. Their magical aptitude is comparable to that of the Sarin race, yet their culture is fundamentally defined by peaceful hedonism, the cultivation of art, and a deep respect for the natural environment. Unlike more militaristic or industrial races, the Niitas prioritize the enjoyment of life’s pleasures and maintain a civilized but non-materialistic social structure.
The most distinctive aspect of Niita biology is their requirement for sexual activity in place of sleep to maintain their health and physical equilibrium. Their entire physiology is specialized for sensory pleasure, with the entire surface of their skin serving as an erogenous zone. Niita females possess wide hips and highly sensitive breasts that can double in size when they are aroused or experiencing intense emotions. Their reproductive anatomy features a prominent clitoris and a deep, textured vagina, designed for rapid and frequent climax. Niita males, while relatively rare, possess oversized genitalia characterized by a collection of small textures or bumps located below the tip.
Historically, the Niitas were an egalitarian society where males and females held equal status, leading to a very high birth rate. This demographic success was perceived as a threat by the goddess Keelai, whose disdain for gender equality and the male gender led her to intervene directly in Tansa’s creation. Keelai altered the species' birth ratio, decreeing that only one male would be born for every one hundred females. This divine interference caused a permanent diplomatic rift between Tansa and Keelai and influenced the Niitas to side with the Lunians during the Great Lunian War.
In the contemporary era, the extreme scarcity of Niita males has resulted in them being treated with the highest level of reverence, often living like kings within their society. To address the lack of sexual partners, Niitas frequently purchase Sarin slaves to serve as sexual tools. However, unions between Niitas and Sarins produce a hybrid offspring known as "Milkies," a lineage that is strictly forbidden by Keelai’s laws. Despite these external pressures and the scars of the Great War, the Niitas continue to live a life of leisure and sensory fulfillment, largely detached from the material ambitions of other Andromeda nations.
