The profession of Milk Bearer is one of the most prestigious and restrictive roles within the religious orders of Andromeda. Found in nearly all major cults, this position requires the total abandonment of the individual's civil identity, as her entire existence is dedicated to serving as an interface between the priestesses and their goddess. The Milk Bearer is considered a sacred "conduit," a biological converter capable of transforming massive quantities of mana into material offerings in the form of milk. This process culminates in a highly secret connection ritual, during which priestesses link their magic flows to that of the Milk Bearer. By acting as a focal point, the latter converts the excess power into a torrent of milk, symbolizing fertility and devotion, which is then offered to the deity.

The daily life of a Milk Bearer is governed by a strict discipline focused on optimizing her mana generation and refinement capacity. Her days are punctuated by deep meditation exercises and magical training sessions aimed at increasing the receptivity of her internal channels. Particular attention is paid to maintaining her physiology, notably through daily breast care and massages provided by dedicated servants, in order to preserve the flexibility and health of tissues subjected to extreme pressures. Outside of collective ceremonies, the Milk Bearer also performs personal offerings, dedicating her own natural production to her goddess in an act of solitary piety.

While the status of a Milk Bearer varies according to the traditions of each Order, it remains a position of sacrifice. Although she benefits from luxurious material comfort and public veneration, the Milk Bearer loses all social and personal autonomy. The selection of candidates is rigorous, often favoring individuals from the Saniitas lineage due to their natural predisposition for magical lactation, although the role is theoretically open to any chosen individual demonstrating sufficient spiritual and physical compatibility.
